Catharine Viveash
Counsellor
Bio
Catharine is a mental health counsellor with an MA in Counselling and a BSc in Psychology. She works as a counsellor at Paracelsus Recovery and also maintains a private practice in Zürich, supporting clients from diverse backgrounds as they navigate emotional and psychological challenges.
Her approach is collaborative and integrative, grounded in the creation of a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. She draws on the compassionate principles of Internal Family Systems, somatic awareness, and body‑based practices, alongside psychodynamic, attachment‑focused, and existential perspectives. This combination offers clients a thoughtful and holistic way to explore their inner world and move toward healing with clarity and courage.
She works with individuals facing questions of identity, the impact of trauma, anxiety, grief, low mood, and the complexities of major life transitions. Her practice offers a steady, compassionate space where clients can make sense of what feels difficult and begin to reconnect with resilience, hope, and a deeper sense of self. At the heart of her work is the belief that healing becomes possible when we no longer have to face our struggles alone.
